CASA HOMARA

PROJECT NAME: VILLA DESIGN

PROJECT OWNER: Mr. Dan

PROJECT LOCATION: Bekasi

ARCHITECT: Dimas & Yudha

This home began with one simple wish. A place that could follow the rhythm of a young family’s daily life. They wanted a house that felt warm in the morning, lively during the day, and calm at night. They wanted a home that kept the family close, no matter how busy their days were.

We started by learning how they live. Most of their time is spent in the heart of the house, the living and dining area. Their child loves playing around the sofa. The parents wanted a place to sit and talk, while still being able to watch their child. During mealtimes, they wanted to stay connected even if one person was at the dining table and others were in the living area. Because of this, the dining and living spaces were designed as one open, seamless room. Warm lighting on the walls brings a soft, familiar atmosphere every evening.

The floating stairs and vertical elements were created to make the house feel open and breathable. The lines are clean, but never harsh. Wood textures add softness and comfort, giving the family a sense of calm when they come home. Shelves and storage are planned so the things that matter to them remain visible. Family photos, small decorations they collected, and the basket of their child’s toys all have their own clear place.

The exterior was planned with practicality in mind. A spacious carport, easy access, a small green space, and a facade that is simple to maintain. We wanted the house to stay neat without asking the owners to constantly take care of it.

During the design process, the owners shared how important their prayer routine is. We created a dedicated prayer corner that stays connected to the main living space. Soft lighting and wood patterns bring a calm atmosphere. The geometric wall feature makes the prayer area feel intentional, not an afterthought.
