I.P POP Telkom Data Center
Structural design for a telecoms data centre — loads carried down a regular column grid onto high-capacity piles, with quantities taken straight off the BIM model.
The I.P POP Telkom project, intended as a data centre building, was designed as strategic infrastructure demanding a high standard of structural strength and stability. The work concentrated on load analysis calculations, sizing the main structural elements, and projecting structural material requirements that are both efficient and accountable.
The site conditions call for engineering adapted specifically to the local ground bearing capacity. Load transfer from the working floors and the telecommunications equipment rooms is directed evenly down to the substructure through a regular column grid carried on high-capacity driven piles.
The whole structural frame — tie beams, fire stairs, floor slabs, roof deck — is integrated precisely into a 3D model built on Building Information Modeling. That combined approach lets the concrete volumes and the bill of quantities be calculated transparently, producing a structural blueprint that is strong, durable, and ready to be executed with precision.
