Hanggar Coffee

The client wanted somewhere relaxed and unpretentious to hang out — which is how “Hanggar Coffee” came about, a coffee shop that feels like meeting friends in a garage.

An open industrial style was the choice: a glass canopy on a black steel frame shelters the main area, keeping the space feeling large while still sheltered from rain. Tiered concrete seating wraps a large planter in the middle of the room, paired with timber-and-steel tables and chairs, a run of hanging bulbs, and a wall painting of classic cars — the result is a place that looks sharp and masculine but still makes you want to stay a while.
