The client wanted to offer a fresher, more interactive way to shop, answering the urban lifestyle of South Jakarta today.
We broke away from the rigid form of the conventional supermarket with a modern industrial style built on an emphatic asymmetric pitched roof. Large glazing on the first floor and an open-front approach at ground level erase the visual boundary between outside and inside, producing a commercial building that feels light, transparent and genuinely inviting to walk into.
